HI,
I am having difficulties with Excel 2004 for MAC with the Getpivotdata function. The syntax is different between EXCEL 2003 for Windows and MAC 2004.
I have constructed a very complex budget of operations dealing with dynamic tables and for some reason whenever i opened the excel file in my mac i get the #value ! error.
I am quite clear that is has to do with the syntax used. But, this spreadsheet is done and it took quite a large amount of hours and i dont want to go back and change everything.
Is there a way to fix this and make the getpivotdata syntaxis work in MAC as is does in EXCEL for Windows. ???
your help is appreciated...

Excel 2016 Getpivotdata

  • Feb 28, 2018  The GetPivotData Surprise. Have you ever experienced the GetPivotData surprise? 🙂 This happens when you are creating a formula in an Excel worksheet, and click a cell inside a pivot table. Instead of getting a cell reference like =B4, we get a long ugly GETPIVOTDATA function added to.
  • Nov 21, 2009  Hi All, I have a spreadsheet that pulls data through from a pivot table into a different format on a frontpage. This absolutely has to be done in this way, there isn't an alternative to this. I am doing this by using the GETPIVOTDATA function and this works fine, however I want to also replicate the functionality where you can double click on the pivottable result to show the lines of data.
